Pastor Robert Quintana, affectionately known as "Pastor Q", joined the pastoral staff at the Frederick Seventh-day Adventist Church in 2005 as the new youth pastor. Over the past two years he has solidified his outstanding leadership abilities and developed personal relationships with the youth and all alike. When the senior pastor position became available, the Search Committee reviewed many resumes, including Pastor Q's. Earlier this Fall the Church Board voted unanimously to offer the position to Pastor Q, with the blessing of the Chesapeake Conference. 


The Frederick Seventh-day Adventist Church was pleased to welcome Elder Vandeman, president of the Chesapeake Conference, to officiate the ceremony on Sabbath, October 27 2007. Music was provided by Frederick SDA Church's new choir, directed by Francisco De Araujo.

In his sermon this past Sabbath, Pastor Q spoke about being under God's amazing umbrella of grace (You can hear it here: http://frederick22.adventistchurchconnect.org/article.php?id=14). As you can see, he makes his points visually as well as verbally!

Pastor Quintana is active in personal ministries and is praising God for the new opportunities ahead. His wife Heather is also an active part of the Frederick church, balances numerous activities, and works for the Review & Herald.
