Author Message Posted by: admin Sabbath The Bible teaches us that God created the heavens and the earth in six literal days, then rested on the seventh day and blessed it - setting it aside as holy and instructing humankind to observe it in recognition of Him as Creator and God. Isn't it interesting that a year is measured by the Earth's orbit around the Sun and a month by the phases of the Moon, yet the ONLY measurement for the seven-day week is found in Gensis?
